About Us
Tickled Twice (formerly 1-2-3 Once Upon a Child) started in 2002
when a few moms got together and decided they wanted a way for
moms like them to share the clothes and toys their children had long
since outgrown. We all love a good bargain and let's face it a lot of
the clothes and toys, especially with the younger ones, just are not
worn or played with that much and it would be a shame for someone
not to enjoy them. We also love a little extra spending money so why
not sell these nearly new items our children have outgrown?
Our sale was born and it has been so much fun getting to know
everyone and so exciting to see all the great things people bring to
the sale. With each season we continue to grow and always welcome
your thoughts.
If you've never been to our sale and are interested in consigning here
are just a few reasons why:
1. You determine the price your items sell for. The only additional fee is a
administration fee. The fee is only $5 if you sell $100 or less and $8 for
amounts greater than $100. The best is that the fee is completely waived if
you volunteer!
2. You decide if you want to take advantage of our discount day.
3. You receive 65%-70% of your selling price. If you sell $1-$250 you
receive 65%; $251-$500 you receive 67.5% and over $500 you receive
70%! That's a lot more than you will receive selling to a resale store.
4. Your check will arrive within 2 weeks of the close of the sale.
5. Our sale is big but not so big your items get 'lost in the shuffle' We also
have enough time to really inspect the clothes and return any less appealing
items.
6. You get to shop EARLY!!! Consign at least 10 items and you get to shop
during the presale night. You also get guest passes to share with friends.
7. Any items you wish to donate are given to the Nancy K. Perry Shelter for
neglected and abused children.
8. Items you wish to pick up will be organized and ready for you on pick up
day.
9. Our sale is in a GREAT location. Lots of traffic whizzing by our front door
on Hwy #1!
