How to Consign


Important Guidelines

  •  The minimum price for an item is $3. If you have an item under $3, group it with
    another item to meet the minimum.

  •  Infant clothing size 0-12 months is limited to 30 total pieces per consignor.

  •  To maintain our exceptional quality of merchandise carried at our sale, all items will
    be inspected at drop-off. Please ensure that your items fit the criteria below.

Items Acceptable for Consignment:

  •  Fall/Winter season only, children's gently worn clothing, sizes infant through  14.  

  •  Any season maternity - gently worn

  •  Fall/Winter  season children's shoes (up to a size 4 Youth)

  •  Dance attire,  rain coats, Halloween costumes.

  •  Baby equipment & baby furniture. Must be clean. Must have all parts and  work.

  •  Working toys & videos/books.  Family videos and video games only.

Items Not Acceptable for Consignment:

  •  Out of season, out-dated, pilled, stained, faded or torn clothing

  •  Broken toys/videos, items priced under $3 (no fast food toys please)

  •  Spring/Summer Clothing (bathing suits, shorts, sandals)

  • Recalled items- consignors need to check www.cpsc.gov for recalls.  Use the
    keyword  search feature to check your items.  Each consignor will sign a statement at
    drop-off verifying items have been checked.  

  • Car seats, Booster seats.

  • Breast pumps.

  • No stuffed Animals

Supplies Needed to Prepare Your Clothing:

  •  Hangers
  •  3x5 index cards
  •  Ziplock baggies
  •  Safety pins
  •  Packing tape

How to Hang Your Clothing:

  •  Hang your clothes on a hanger with the hook pointing to the left like a question mark
    (?)

  •  Pants must be hung with 2 safety pins at the top of the hanger.

  •  If your item is a 'set' (i.e. pant and shirt) pin the pants at the waist to the back of the
    hanger and the shirt goes over the pants.

  •  Accessories that are a part of a clothing set must be placed in a Ziploc bag and also
    pinned to the clothing.


How to Prepare Baby Equipment, Furniture, Toys & Books:

  •  Must be clean. Must have all parts. Must be in working order.

  •  Use clear packing tape to adhere the index card securely to the item.

  •  Place small parts inside a Ziploc bag, tape the bag closed and then tape to the main
    item.


Preparing the 3x5 Index Card:

  • Prepare your cards precisely as shown in the example. We will not accept clothes
    tagged differently. Please not mark-through on your card - if you make a mistake
    please use another card.

  • Consignor # - This is the number assigned to you.

  • Size - The size of the garment. Please no Small/Medium/Large - best estimate of size, i.
    e. 24 mos.

  • "D" Donate - If you would like to donate the item if it doesn't sell place a "D" in the
    bottom left corner. (Optional)

  • Price - You determine the price of each garment. We reserve the right to price any item
    that does not have a price. Please price in whole dollars.

  • "ND" No Discount - If you don't want the item to be sold in the ½ off sale, place ND in
  • the bottom right corner. (Optional)

Dropping Off Your Prepared Items:

  •  Your items will be inspected piece by piece. In order to keep our sale filled with high
    quality items we reserve the right to deny items not meeting our criteria.

  •  Group your hung clothing together and rubber band them together by size and gender.

  •  Shoes will be checked for condition at drop off.   

  • You will receive your 'consignor pre-sale' admission ticket & 2 guest tickets when you
    drop off your items.
